By accessing and using Confrmly (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including hosts who create and manage events, and guests who respond to invitations.
2. Description of Service
Confrmly is an event management and RSVP platform that allows hosts to create events, share invitations, and collect guest responses. The Service includes features for tracking attendance, dietary preferences, plus-ones, and table assignments.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
3. Account Registration
To host events, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your account details as necessary. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited communications or spam to guests
- Create events for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect or store personal data of guests beyond what is necessary for event management
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. Guest Data & Privacy
As a host, you are responsible for the lawful collection and handling of your guests' personal information. By using the Service, you agree to obtain any necessary consents from your guests for collecting their data.
Guest data collected through the Service (including names, email addresses, dietary preferences, and RSVP responses) is used solely for event management purposes and is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Confrmly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any content you upload or create through the Service (such as event descriptions and cover images), but grant us a non-exclusive license to display and process this content to provide the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Confrmly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we may delete your account data.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
